Jackson Square is the original Townsite of Oak Ridge, and today it is as vibrant as ever. It features quaint and unique shopping, local restaurants, monthly Arts & Antiques in the Square festivals, a weekly farmers market, and first-class live theater and entertainment. Nostalgic photo displays throughout Jackson Square reveal wartime Oak Ridge, when the Square was open 24 hours a day as a gathering spot for off-duty workers in the Secret City.
